Tyson Yunkaporta

Tyson Yunkaporta is an Aboriginal scholar, founder of the Indigenous Knowledge Systems Lab at Deakin University in Melbourne, and author of Sand Talk.

As an indigenous person, Tyson looks at global systems from a unique perspective, one tied to the natural & spiritual world. He is the author of ‘Sand Talk: How Indigenous Thinking Can Save the World’. He carves traditional tools and weapons & also works as a senior lecturer in Indigenous Knowledges at Deakin University in Melbourne.
