Nicolas Salazar Sutil
Action researcher, community builder, and transformational leader. Nicolas works in the areas of ecology, human rights and nature rights.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Nicolas is a British and Chilean writer, action researcher, community builder, and transformational leader.
Nicolas is the Editor of Minority Rights Group, where he works advancing the rights of minority communities and indigenous people around the world. Nicolas also writes for The Tenure Facility, an NGO devoted to advancing land tenure for indigenous people in nine countries across the Global South.
In 2021, Nicolas founded Guardians Worldwide, a Community Interest Company that delivers learning programmes on river and forest guardianship worldwide. Guardians also supports forest and rivers stewards in Latin America and Africa.
